Compulsive writer of quality, never bites his tongue and fight from their pages for civil rights in and outside the network. Just finished this interview, his initiative to combat the draft to end Gallardón cybercafes scored an immediate success: withdrawal from the project and the appearance of the campaign in Wired. You can read his official biography: The Pig's excellent biography sentimental: Memoirs of a Cyberpunk in ciberpunk.com and the fictional: Urban Legend.

STEPHEN J. BALL: (this author want to highlight his work) : The micropolitics of the school. Towards a theory of ion school organizace
How are schools organized? Stephen Ball argues that it is where interpersonal influence, commitment, and negotiations between racks become as important as the formal and official meetings. Schools are, in fact, fields of ideological dispute more abstract and formal bureaucracies. The micropolitics describes the "dark side" of the organization and involves the struggle to impose the definition of school (and hence of education itself.) Leadership thus becomes a question of political skill: the directors are strategic actors who adopt particular styles or aspects of themselves in order to dominate the organization, the power comes from the struggle and its control talks are fundamental importance.
micro theory of Stephen Ball on school organization is a radical departure from traditional theories. Prescriptive approach rejects the "top down" and deal directly with the interests and concerns of teachers and change the current problems facing schools. In doing so, raises questions about education and ownership of existing forms of organizational control in schools. Through case studies and interviews with teachers, this book captures the atmosphere of the real conflicts in schools, particularly in times of falling student rolls, address changes or mergers, where the autonomy of teachers seems to be in danger.
