The origin of urban tribes
How are urban tribes? What was the first tribe of the story?
The origin of the tribe is always in the city boy or girl in need of expression. That reasoning stems the desire of joining others with similar tastes and create a social inside their own area (town district, school) apart from the adult world. Then look for a place to meet, the center may be the staircase of the block, a park or sports field.
These spaces have three expressive features:
of belonging (to the site, district or school)
of action (is where recreational activities take place in the group)
of representation (of self and the rest).
The urban youth want to leave the uniform mass of the city. Find your identity, eager to stress, and look for affection from others like him.
The first urban tribes, as we know them in modern society, were released in the S. XX. Before the 50's, he spent from childhood to maturity with a snap of fingers. But it was from the 60's when they took account of adolescence.
tribe The concept refers to the nostalgia of the old, the tribal life of early man, as contrary to modern civilization. The ancient clans were united by needs of kinship, economic and religious.
To which we live now, call it neo-tribalism: multicultural groups involved and are identified as equals, without hierarchies. Each group has a style and a few rituals that set them apart from all others. United by the bonds of friendship, feel the tribe as a living being.
